My artistic journey began at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where I pursued a Diploma in Art Teaching and spent most of my studying years practicing visual fine arts and teaching.
As a dedicated educator, I've spent the recent years fostering the expressive minds of these little artists while witnessing the joy that it brings into people's lives. I miss these kids!
A picture that was beautifully imagined and drawn by one of the students in my class — after I told them the adventure of how I learnt to scuba dive over the June holidays.
While pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Art Education at Nanyang Technological University, I ventured into the world of fashion by launching my own handmade clothing line - celescryst, which allowed me to explore crafts of different medium and connecting with the world through wearable art.
However, it was my fascination with storytelling through wearable art that eventually led me to the realm of tattoos.
Captivated by the idea of immortalizing stories on skin, I embarked on a personal exploration and self-learning journey.
This journey eventually led me to the Hansan Academy, where I had the privilege of learning from the accomplished tattooists from Korea - Hansan and Eq.
And today, as a graduate of the Hansan Academy, I specialize in creating scrapbook and collage style tattoos.
